Here is one of my all time favorites and its super cheap.
Step 1- Buy the large pint mason jars (wide mouth).
Step 2- pick a theme. this was for my sister who is a barrel racer but you could do sand/beach theme with sand from vacation or dirt from the place that you visited. if its a snowy theme i would do salt or sugar mixed with glitter.
Step 3- cut the picture to fit inside the jar first.
Step 4- hot glue and solid props down. I had the barrels that I got out of a $5 dollar general play set, it came with the panels, feed sacks, hay, and a bunch of other stuff.
Step 5- add picture. I used hot glue to secure the top corners of the picture just to keep it from moving.
Step 6- add dirt/sand/snow. it doesn't take a lot, just enough to cover the bottom of the picture and make it look like it belongs there.
Step 7- optional. you can add things to the outside of the jar as well if it doesn't fit inside. As you can see on the top picture i had to add the panel to keep the jar steady. if there isn't a flat side to the jar you will have to add something to keep it from rolling.
These are really cool! They are personal and cheap! (especially if you already have the jars!)
