This project is super fun and easy!
Items you will need:
- Toy truck or tractor (Walmart or a farm store like Orschlen's or Atwoods)
- tiny christmas trees (Michael's or Hobby Lobby)
- hot glue gun
- wide mouth mason jars that are flat on the sides ( that way they don't roll around)
- fake snow (or cut up a walmart sack into tiny tiny pieces)
- ribbon
Step 1- clean a mason jar inside and out and make sure it is totally dry.
Step 2- if you chose a tiny truck or car, glue the christmas tree in the back or on the hood. if you chose a tractor use a tiny piece of twine and tie the tree behind the tractor.
Step 3- secure the truck/tractor inside the jar with hot glue. usually just glueing the front wheels is enough to keep everything in place.
Step 4- add a few pinches of fake snow. you will have to use a pen or popsicle stick to push the snow down around the car that way it doesn't look like a blizzard :)
Step 5- put on the lid and the band and tie a ribbon around it.
...and your are done! a really easy and cheap gift to give to a car or truck enthusiast or mechanic...
